The Greenhouse Remodel
So, when i began the project of installing grow lights in the greenhouse last year, i envisioned lights hanging down 7 foot chains that could be adjusted to be shorter as the plants grew. I figured i would start with the lights right above the little seedlings and then raise them up higher and higher …
A Glimpse of the Future
Lately the temperature at night has been hovering right around freezing and ive been leaving the greenhouse lights on overnight to keep it a bit warmer in there considering theres two open wall vents that let the outdoor air in even when i close the windows. She expressed some interest in utilizing some of the chicken poop as fertilizer. Ive done this before. A little goes a long way and it works great for flowering plants. I …

My main objective here is not to grow food. If food results that will be lovely but ultimately i want a room where i can be surrounded by healthy thriving greenery and after a hard day of peopling, i can go in there and just be with plants. So i have selected food plants and …
