My friend and neighbor has a pretty extensive garden with an impressive deer fence. Im pretty sure its bigger than my one room house. She expressed some interest in utilizing some of the chicken poop as fertilizer. Ive done this before. A little goes a long way and it works great for flowering plants. I was ecstatic for her to take some of the chicken poop since i just have to keep shoveling it out of the pen so the door will still open. She came over one day and we shoveled the poop into buckets and loaded her car. A couple weeks ago she sent me a photograph of the chicken poop becoming liquid fertilizer. Im glad we found a productive use for it. I never buy fertilizer in the store. Why bother? There’s chicken poop right here.
