Immediately after learning the person i had prayed for ceaselessly was awake and conscious, it rained like i had never seen it rain here before. It was like everything that had been pent up was let go and the flood gates of nature were open. It rained for an entire day and night. it poured the entire time. I had driven to austin for a doctor’s appointment so i missed it but i was there for the rain overnight and i saw the bit austin got. When i left we had already received 5 inches. When i came back there were twelve inches of rain water sitting in each home depot bucket. In one day we got a foot of rain. Something else happened though. It rained upstream too. These slow moving storms had dumped and dumped and dumped pouring rain for hours. The dry riverbed was suddenly not only full but flooded! It had jumped its banks and covered the adjacent field in the flood zone. It was flowing over our little dam. In one day, God had done what i was a thousand percent sure would take months if not years to accomplish. He filled the river.
A whirlpool created as the water began to get stuck curving away from the little side bunch of trees near the road.
This stock tank was empty a day ago.
After the rain the earth was just wet. The air was wet. Everything felt renewed. It felt as if we could rest, breathe for a minute…
All these beautiful white flowers sprang up all over the property after the rains!
