The Hill Country Sky

From what i am told it is that time of year when the fields are set ablaze in mexico to render the ground fertile for new crops. For the past few months the sky has been thick with haze and the horizon has been somewhat blurred by the particulates suspended in the air. this has translated into the sun turning fuchsia pink most nights as it disappears behind the curtain of settled pollution right before it sets. The conditions make for beautiful photographs but i long to see a clear day where the horizon is actually visible and the rolling hills are crisp. Nothing is crisp right now unless you are indoors. Everything is dusty and the windshield wipers must be run before each drive.
