It was 100 degrees. There was a little blip on the radar, a pop up storm that created itself over the town second closest to us. It was headed our way. It looked very impressive while it was building but it soon rained itself out and began to fall apart as it traveled. The cloud structure was disintegrated. What once looked like a tightly wound building shape arrived in wisps that were precipitating but lacking structure and had massive areas of blue sky visible between them. We did get some rain but the town over got the impressive stuff. I looked for a rainbow but couldnt find one. I did get some neat photographs of clouds though. A lot of people in the hill country can see weather several towns over from their property because theres no buildings in the way. So, we all came to work with pictures of the same pop up storm from different sides of it the following morning.

Beautiful pictures!!! Especially the ones taken as the sun started to set! I love when something like that happens here, we are constantly comparing pictures at work of storms, sunsets, and animals! 😀
