The Agaritas Bloom

Two years ago my family member notified me that these thorny things on my property are agarita berry bushes and that while painful to harvest they yield pretty tasty berries. I have wanted to investigate this ever since she said it but for the past two years we have had apocalyptic winter every time these things go to bloom, and if they freeze in bloom, they don’t bloom again. So its been two years with no berries. They are flowering now. Since i took this picture they’ve already opened up into bright orange flowers. I have hope that this will be the year i get to harvest and sample them.
