Bud is the larger armadillo with a healed over puncture mark that lives under a rotted tree stump behind my house. Berkey is the name my mother gave to the newest younger and smaller armadillo to show up on scene. He was quite small when he first appeared and he seems to have a den underneath the shed. I suspect his mother may be Bud since they sometimes browse for bugs together, but i cant be sure. Bud may need a new name…
