My supervisor taught us how to make these blankets with our hands and giant yarn. She was making one for each patient in the nursing home. I wanted to make one for the 106 year old patient who is one of my two favorite ladies. She is just the best human. Always content and never hurt anybody. Confused but happily. she’s so sweet and i love her. I was unprepared for how much the ocd part of my brain would hate this task, trying to make all the finger loops of yarn uniform. This was the most stressful activity ive done in a while. However, i love my little lady, so i had to do it because it was for her. Long story short, i finished it and my supervisor embroidered her name on the tag. One day i went in and put it on her legs while she was in bed and now its hers. Every patient in the nursing home now has one.
