The Worst Year Yet of Scorpions

We had a warm winter and evenly spaced bouts of light rain. Nothing died. Im killing an average of 1 scorpion nightly in the house. Sometimes two. This is a record as previous years brought one a week at most. Although sometimes they surprise me and crawl across the floor in broad daylight. Weapon of choice? Salt canister. Places found most often: wall next to window unit and shower.

This guy was above my bed but because of the mosquito net tent i couldnt get to him. Its a strange feeling to go to sleep with this a foot above you but if he dropped the tent would have caught him.
