Cricket was unlike the rest of my animals. She came and went as she pleased and she sort of made her own schedule. She decided what she was doing when and if i wanted to spend time with her i kind of had to join whatever she was doing. Cricket stretched out in the sun and began giving herself a bath. So i stretched out on the shed porch beside her and took a vitamin d bath while she gave herself a regular bath. She seemed happy for the company as long as i didnt mess up the job she was doing by depositing more human oils while petting her. she purred and i rested in the sun. Every once in a while she strolled over and pressed her nose to mine. Overhead there was a very blue cloudless sky. The temperature was warm for a winter day and the sun was welcome. It was a restful afternoon following a hectic day at work.
