Everyone here wants rain so badly. we see on the television, mudslides in california, historical flooding in new york…water filling the streets and spilling over the railing or down the stairs like a waterfall into the subway…just so much water, an overwhelming amount of water. Texans want that. We would give anything to be flooded right now. We have insurance, let the flooding begin. We just want our wells not to be dry and our rivers to come back. In my lifetime i have never seen the bottom of the riverbed out here. Its a very strange notion. Its been low but dry is something else entirely. It means a whole river doesnt exist anymore. The water is gone. The trees lining the river for who knows how many years, dead. Come on new york, you have plenty enough water over there…send it this way. Please…..
Because we are so starved for water, even if just one cloud starts emptying precipitation over a small area, we get excited. I was driving home one day when i noticed one such cloud. It was dropping rain somewhere! I wasnt sure where but i could see that it was raining somewhere! Every little bit helps.
