A Wind/Dust Storm

We have had over a week of high winds conditions daily. There was not a cloud in the sky on this particular day. The combination of dirt and smoke from the nearby wildfire blocked out the sun. 500 people were evacuated. The fire burned for a week. When all was said and done the crabapple fire claimed 9,858 acres of wooded hill country land. It looks like a desert of toothpicks now. Those trees arent coming back and those people’s land is forever changed. We need less wind for awhile and more common sense. If there are 42 mph wind gusts, you should not be doing anything involving a match. That includes burning brush, burning trash, burning fields, or using tools that throw sparks. If you’re having trouble closing the car door…all these activities are a nope.
